Thank you, that's a fantastic knife!
I think that is a great improvement in looks.I was experimenting with some dye a few months ago, and this one was the guinea pig.
Thanks OH. I have a bunch of knives in Case's amber peach seed bone, and just decided to darken this one.I think that is a great improvement in looks.
Really cool! I’ve never seen that Bison etchThese Parker-Schrades from 1978 had some very nice jigged bone.

Looks great. Were those 20cv or s35vn?It looks like I get to start the show this Sunday. I hope everyone's having a great weekend.
Case made a test run of these stockmans in CPM20CV a couple years ago, and I really thought they'd sell a lot better than they did. But what the heck do I know.

Maybe someone who actually knows what they're talking about will come along. Until then, this one was CPM20CV, but right after this came out, I think they came out with a stockman & trapper in S35VN. Due to the newer steels, the price was higher than similar models, and I don't think they sold well.Looks great. Were those 20cv or s35vn?
Nice. Wish I grabbed one when they were around.Maybe someone who actually knows what they're talking about will come along. I just did a "google" search, and while I can't find one in CPM20, it looks like the S35 is still available at DLT.Nice. Wish I grabbed one when they were around.
