My folders have either a linerlock or a double-trigger retention system (photo below). It's a system that's a bit different from what we're used to, and one that I really like. You can see it in action here

I don’t understand how his lock works, but I feel like I need one. His style is very CPK and LA in profile.

Maybe his lock design will inspire?

I’ll slow this down for you seeing that you are from Mid-Missouri (light hearted ribbing). This is not my first Pre-Order, I understand what is what… Nathan is usually pretty good about updating folks with Pre-Order status stating where the blanks are within the build process. Just out of curiosity I wanted to know how the build was proceeding, not the status on my knife.

Posted Oct 12, 2024, since then he has had 5 to 6 Friday sales with EDC’s. Nathan stated in the Pre-Order that he would distribute a roughly even share between the two sales channels. Quite a few distributed in that method. How are the Pre-Orders proceeding?

Does anybody know what the edge thickness is (where the primary grind meets the secondary) of the Amazon BFK, regular BFK and the FK3? Per the latest sales it seems like Nathan tweeted the regular BFK grind thickness for the forum vs what the original was. Trying to determine how much better at carving the regular BFK is compared to the first release and the fine tunes fk3.

I absolutely love the old tool steels that darken and patina with age. I have tools that were in the family since the 40's. And some that were given to me by a neighbor in the late seventies, that he had purchased in the early 1900s when he worked in the Machine Shop in philadelphia.

The are dark and pretty. Hold a great edge. I would absolutely love a run of A2 knives by Nathan

You may already know this, but Nathan’s early shivs we’re in A2.
