#NotNathan, but I thought it was pretty clear that similar to the hard/thin #badidea FK2, the tweaked version of the BFK/FK3 will be the limited McRib version.

That’s what I assumed at first, but after seeing 2-3 sales in a row for the tweaked version, I realized that the sentence could be interpreted either way.
Did I miss a detail that clearly specifies the tweaked version will be a more limited run? I will look through it again

We will offer a tweaked version from time to time, but we're probably going to stick with the original Delta 3V.

Nathan, what do you think of Larrin's heat treat for 3V? He recently re-tested 3V using an austenitizing temperature of 2000°F, plate quench, cryo, and a temper at 400°F, and found a large increase in toughness and hardness over his previous results. He surmised the difference is due to a slow cooling rate in the original tests.

Since it's a fast quench, low temper heat treat there should be plenty of chromium in solution, so it should be MORE corrosion resistant.

My bad, I completely misread the labeling of 3VH as High hardness and 3VL as low hardness.

Nathan, I wanted to ask your general thoughts on CPM 1V and A8 Mod steel as used in a knife? I have an A8 Mod knife and I love it, It is tough and resists stains well. I have never had a 1V knife and I know they are fairly rare out in the wild when compared to to other steels. Thank you for your time.
