#NotNathan, but I thought it was pretty clear that similar to the hard/thin #badidea FK2, the tweaked version of the BFK/FK3 will be the limited McRib version.Hi Nathan,
You’re probably annoyed that I’m asking about nontweaked Delta 3V yet again, but I wanted to know which is going to be the McRib, tweaked or nontweaked BFK?
#NotNathan, but I thought it was pretty clear that similar to the hard/thin #badidea FK2, the tweaked version of the BFK/FK3 will be the limited McRib version.
Since it's a fast quench, low temper heat treat there should be plenty of chromium in solution, so it should be MORE corrosion resistant. At the cost of some rather significant corrosion resistance. The more I learn about metallurgy/knife design, the more complex it becomes.
My bad, I completely misread the labeling of 3VH as High hardness and 3VL as low hardness.Since it's a fast quench, low temper heat treat there should be plenty of chromium in solution, so it should be MORE corrosion resistant.
Man, that thing is awesome, Michael! It gets my adrenaline going every time I see it.Nathan, why are y’all so frickin’ good at what you do ?

You're not fooling us! We all know you shed a little tear inside because you were hoping for some hobbit foot action.
