The reason I leave the welts oversized is it helps me keep things straight as I wet form. It gets a couple of trips in the vise during the forming and later as it dries.

Well I hope it goes on many a bike ride and turns out useful for you. I've gotta head to the big city today for a dentist's appt. but should have this group of knives sharpened up and shipped out very soon.

Just a quick heads up on Cowbell Dibs. Since I may be out of the shop in March I'm gonna hold off on taking any Dibs right now. I'm gonna work on the 20 cowbells I have in the works and get them as far as I can before I leave. At least ground and heat treated ready for handsanding. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on what's goin on and what the focus is. I'll also be working on the stacked leather and the Faro sheath.

I was in MN last week. -19° F around St. Cloud. It was not lovely there.
