If I was smart I'd keep working, cost of living has put a damper on my plans for sure. With the kids being 9 and 11 I just don't want to lose any more time with them. That’s great to hear.
I’m a little jealous about the unemployment thing. The spike in the cost of living has set me back a few months but I’m still at your heels.
Swim team just ended, been camping out at swim meets around the state all summer. Next year we plan on doing some road trips, looking into an RV or at least a travel trailer.Sounds very busy, glad to hear things are going well, sounds like a lot of cool things coming down the pike. Keep up the good work, and enjoy some time with the family. Have you gone anywhere new lately this summer?
Great pic, I love seeing Cowbells in use!Dibs!
Sorry - just practicing and getting warmed up.
I'm glad to hear things are going well and it sounds like you're got a great plan for the road ahead!

So now we get to guess what kind of travel trailer that you will pull with the vehicle we said you drive from the other thread. If I was smart I'd keep working, cost of living has put a damper on my plans for sure. With the kids being 9 and 11 I just don't want to lose any more time with them.

Nice John, two of my favorite woods.Let's revive this thread with a couple Cowbells I'm finishing up in Blackwood and Bocote at a family members request.
These pics serve as a reminder to Q-Tip out the dust from your tubing before trying to get a fancy picture

Cowbells are open to natural materials as an option though there'll be a slight upcharge involved (man I hate the word upcharge, it always feels like someone's trying to nickel and dime you). There's a lot of cutting and milling involved when processing blocks or even scales for Cowbells that takes a lot of time and setup. When you get a Dibs I'll send a list of what I have available and you'll have the option of sending something as long as it's either stabilized or a wood that doesn't require stabilizing. I'm looking for a source for bone as well.
Mine too, the Bocote on that one is some that you sent me years ago.Nice John, two of favorite woods.
Wow, I still have a few pieces left.Mine too, the Bocote on that one is some that you sent me years ago.
That was a good score, you don't see a barrel full of bocote every day!Wow, I still have a few pieces left.
If you need a few pieces Tim Let me know, I still have some left. This was two of three barrels I scored a while back. Those look great. Blackwood looks good on anything and but that bocote and cowbell go together very well
Thanks for the offer. That is a load of wood!If you need a few pieces Tim Let me know, I still have some left. This was two of three barrels I scored a while back.
