I don't have much to add but to say that my button lock VECP operates smoothly and drops shut. I've never disassembled mine, but I did give it a little squirt on the circumference of the button with a needle applicator and Slip 2000 EWL when it was slightly recalcitrant, and it's been great since.

What all do you plan to have done? I've considered having my PJ modded but can never decide on what I would do.

I plan to cut them loose with a complete creative package with only St Michael as a suggestion. I will definitely post the results.
