Handstands and stretching in between handstands today.

Slower than usual & probably not 1 second 45 count handstand x5
LONG rest periods in between each 45 count hold.

Need to go help in our kitchen and will see if I can shuffle step for a mile afterwards.

EDIT: Got dismissed after the wife got irritated with me sooner than later.
13 minute & 27 second senior citizen shuffle step for 1 mile.

Have a good remainder of the weekend everyone!

Boys....not new but don't post much. 34 and just tore my acl playing soccer. Been playing my whole life. Any pre/post op recommendations?
Surgery went well I guess. Never had surgery but I wouldn't have guessed how much it sucks after. Also paying out of pocket wasn't much fun. Therapy starts tomorrow.

Also probably time to take up a new sport, any suggestions for minimal impact and no twisting?

Swimming is the only thing I can think of. Blade sports, martial arts, weight lifting, hand/eye coordination sports (handball, tennis, baseball, bowling, etc.), gymnastics, all involve impact and twisting that I would assume would be off limits until you're fully recovered. Does your PT have any suggestions?

My geriatric training routine for today:
5 x jump to handstand (30 count, 35 count, 45 count, 40 count, 45 count)
Stretching in between handstands (support front split, pancake & forward fold)
1 mile shuffle step completed in 12 minutes & 47 seconds.

Going back a bunch of pages. Take a walk before work and a walk after work to get some exercise in. Make it a habit if possible.
I keep my wife company on her infrequent 1 mile walks and I try to keep up with my son when he joins me on my geriatric shuffle steps.

Blues Blues Thank you for moving this where it belongs.
