Thrifty Thursday... Cheap Traditional Knives

HSB Junior Cattle Knife, pawnshop pickup in Fort Worth around 2016 or 2017, $20 OTD. Great snap, F&F, and an easily applied wicked sharp edge. OH

Great knife. I’m a big fan of HSB, I have 1 at this point and it is worn out big time.

Congrats on the big RR lockback work knife, Alan!:thumbsup::cool:
I've had one like that for the past 1.5 years and think it's a versatile utility knife.

Thanks Gary. It hits the sweet spot. It's so nice I'm thinking of getting one to mod with upgraded covers.

This one snuck into my accumulation. Years ago Marbles offered some traditionals made by a US company, top quality and high priced. Shortly after that I saw this and other patterns on a legit Marbles dealer's table priced very low. I grabbed a few different patterns, not realizing they had gone off shore to source them. I gifted the others but kept this large toothpick to remind me to look before I leap!
