Traditional and Modern pairings

Love the blade shape on that WH.
New to me, A. G. Russell Pinched Peanut in mammoth ivory and VG-10, paired with a Robert Capdepon Liner Lock, mammoth ivory and BG-42.

Thanks, Gary.

Those Russell Peanuts have been on my radar for a couple years. Are they every bit as nice as they look?

I think they're every bit as nice as many custom knives that I have. I looked at them for years myself. I do know that if you get one and you're not happy with it A. G. will take care of you. Feel free to send me a pm (conversation) if you need a push.

Guys, I told AG about 5 years ago that he needed to make a 3¾" closed version of the exact same pattern, and it would be the "end all" EDC. Still no word on it, though. It would be dynamite even with jigged bone covers.

I'm old school thru & thru.... I like my traditional folders.... whether they were made decades ago or just yesterday....
Here's an 80+ year old Schrade laying next next to its direct successor, a Canal Street Cutlery that's still less than five years old!
Can you tell them apart?....

Heck yeah!

I usually have my flint blade from the Upper Paleolithic era, and my Emerson CQC13 Wave Combat Bowie Folder, both ready for action!

I lost my thumb stud. Mr. Allen at Three Sisters Forge shipped me a double thumb stud. This is my daily knife I carry at work and needed it to be ambidextrous!!! Great customer service!!! Oh and the TC ain't to shabby either...
