Sooo... I had an urge to purchase and carry a new modern, and as this Emerson was something I admired as a younger man and never had the funds to purchase. When I did have the funds later they were kinda old news in the tacticool world. Recently they caught my eye and I thought “what the heck”. I should’ve bought one years ago! It’s certainly no slicer and would not replace a good thinly ground traditional, but it will cut and I’m digging it a lot. It can ride shotgun.
