Traditional Knife and Gun Picture Thread

.......oooh, dear Old Hunter Old Hunter - now you're makin' me right green with envy.

If there's one thing I'd love to get my paws on, it's a Winchester rifle (similar otherwise) but it'd have to be deactivated.

Then, I could sit on the sofa with it across my lap when I'm watching westerns and help pick off the bad guys...

Would just love to have one hanging in my study so I could have a fondle and play every now and then - wonderful, wonderful pieces  🤠

Bout a perfect rifle!
Thanks gents, we are all kindred souls. OH

Pretty darn good on the holster! Just seeing this now. Be glad to help in your leather work adventures anyway I can. You've got the flow of that old style carving pretty good.
Wow! Hearing that from you is inspiring. I've carved one or two belts but this was a first. Your work is amazing needless to say. Thanks for the offer of knowledge sharing . Rick

Ya bet! Call, PM or email anytime if I can help or in the Sheaths and Such section here on BF. I think belts are harder than holsters. Holsters give ya a lil more canvas to work on and everything doesn't have to be so small.

I just found this little " Colt 25 " airsoft spring pistol in the bushes across from the local elementary school while I was walking to the post office.

I figure some kid probably chickened out of taking it to school and ditched it before he got there, that's his loss I guess.
I used to just keep it in my pocket till I wanted to plink street signs on the way home, as long as nobody knew I had it at school there was no trouble.

I had 3 of these things over the years as a teenager, I used to keep one in my pocket everyday and would pull it out to shoot my brother when he wasn't looking.
I'm not sure if these still come free inside the large jar of Airsoft bb's, but I'm assuming so because the requirement for additional orange markings on the trigger guard and grip is a fairly recent thing.

Anyways, I blew it off with some compressed air, gave the piston a little lube and it shoots great.
Just as fun to play around with as I remember, now I guess I just gotta get ahold of my brother ;)

Great combo. 😁👍
Though I pray the one on top gets called to use much less. (as in never required.)

Question:
How much does the ported barrel cut the felt recoil?
For example, does it feel more like shooting a .357 Mag or .38 Special, or or is it more like a .45 ACP from a 1911?
(I've never used a revolver in .45 ACP, so don't know what they are like.)

Nice Tracker 👍
I have it's sister in .44, sorry no pics right now. It's currently hanging out with my dad. He took a liking to it so I just let it live over there with him 😂

As black mamba black mamba said, the recoil is mostly still there but the muzzle flip is greatly reduced.

Here's it's big brother in .454 Casull. It can also shoot .45 Colt as a lighter load. Similar to loading .38 special in a .357 mag or .44 special in a .44 magnum (A Dirty Harry Favorite) 😎
