It's a On your 6 designs minimalist holster you can loop the cord around your belt and tuck it in your waist or your pocket , the cord holds the holster when you draw .Tell us more about that holster. I've never seen one like that.
OK that Bisley is only a lil GORGEOUS!Pistol range today with the oil field 86.

Pistol is Ruger but grips look S&W. Looks great
They are ruger grips. This was a 1983 Ohio State Patrol anniversary pistol. My dad is retired state patrol and bought 3 of them. This one I shoot.Pistol is Ruger but grips look S&W. Looks great
Thank you!! Norma Auto-Match, got it. Gonna see if I can find a place that stocks it or will ship to Mass.I have one and been carrying it for 3 years. You will love it. Use Norma Auto-Match ammo.

SO beautiful! EDIT I see it's a model 27. Love itI’ve been on a classic revolver kick - specifically .357s. This is a “classic” model S&W 27. This one unfortunately has the “Hillary Hole” so that’s a pretty significant detractor IMO, but was willing to overlook it. I see now S&W has started producing non-locking revolvers. There is a classic 19 non-locking and a new Lipsey Mountain Gun. The Mountain Gun is on my short list.

I carried this one in a Galco Big Iron holster while running errands today. Still cold enough in my neck of the woods to conceal carry with a heavy Outback coat.
I use IWB for summer and sweatpants carry and a ankle holster for winter. Check 1791 gun leather for the IWB holster. CCI Mini-Mag works well too. I just have about 3 bricks of Norma and have had no problems.Thank you!! Norma Auto-Match, got it. Gonna see if I can find a place that stocks it or will ship to Mass.
What do you use for holster options? I'm not opposed to IWB or OWB, but I'd like a good pocket option. It's great that it came with a nice holster, but I was hoping for something a little more rigid, and one that stayed in the pocked on draw.
EDIT: Seems this ammo is out of stock in a lot of places, but a lot of Ruger forums say CCI Mini-Mag round nose is the "standard" for this gun. That'll have to do until I can get some Norma.
Nice Kimber..
