Hi Hunter with your history working with Nathan Carothers, are you able to use his Delta treatment protocol for the 3v Bowie?

I will be doing my own protocol. I think I'm doing all the right things with my HT to get the best out of 3V.

Stonewashed and optional black cerakote.

I feel pretty confident in saying the Tyrant Bowie will make pretty much anything else feel like a toy...

Yes, I can't wait to get this model live! I just filmed a quick video and took some good pictures of some finished prototypes.

Alright boys here are some pics. Again, these are the prototypes. The main run will have a slightly longer and deeper fuller and will be fully stonewashed with no mill scale. The production model is about 2 ounces lighter than the prototype.

The production model will also feature 3/8th scales but the pictures are taken with 1/2in scales. Visually there is almost no difference but the 3/8th scales feel alot better in hand.

Edit: Also, these effing SLAP. You will not be disappointed.

Yes planning on having the prototypes available at the launch as well for a discount. They turned out nicer than I thought they would. Just waiting on scales for them.

I do not yet. Unfortunatley Ill have to do the launch without pictures of the actual scales but I will update the thread with photos as soon as I get the scales in. Im guessing we will have them ready some time next week.

These wont be back from heat treat for 2-3 weeks so if anyone wants to change their order after seeing pics of the scale options, there will be time to do it.

I will have it in the knifemakers fixed blade for sale area Ill have the instructions up shortly

And we weren't able to film the video with all the snow. It was literally a foot deep. It just didn't work. We are going to back to film in 2 weeks.
