Lets use this thread for Voyager Sign Ups.

I currently have 5 that I just sawed out from 3/16" O1.

This is roughly what the finished knives will look like.

Base pricing will be $295
That includes black or natural canvas micarta, black kydex sheath, insured shipping in US

Blade finish will be standard to what I typically make.

Handles will be a very comfortable and multi-position friendly "Barrel" shape -- tapered front and rear with palm swell

Micarta will be finished to 220 grit which is smooth yet provides plenty of traction

G10 will be wet sanded to 600 or 1000

Aluminum Pins will be used

Sheath will be a Pancake style

These will be heat treated to 59-60 Rc
Tapered Tang is standard
Edge geometry will be optimized for the expected tasks

If you are interested comment below and give me your options.

I would like to keep this thread clear of clutter so please if you have questions or comments lets discuss in the "One Knife Survival Knife" thread.

Thank You For Your Support

Hi BC, Can you please clarify blade length and overall length. Thanks

Will there be a 3V option in future?

I have been thinking and planning other steel options, but as of right now 3V is not one.

That's not saying I won't make a couple in 3V later this year, just not immediate future.

Chris, Put me down for a natural canvas Voyager please. No sheath necessary, I'll make my own. PM inbound regarding payment.

By my count three are currently spoke for above, that leaves 2 more without homes.

The next batch of 5 Voyagers are profiled and drilled.
All 5 are drilled for 2 pins and 2 tubes.
They need some pre-heat treat grinds and things will be ready to get hot.
I am hoping to be able to heat treat in the next week or so.

Thanks for your patience.

I received an order for another through facebook today so that puts the count at 4 spoken for and one still available.

Finally have an update.
This batch of 5 Voyagers are getting heat treated right now.
Things have been moving a bit slow lately, Sorry.
Making progress though.

I'll take one, royal blue scales with hunter orange liners.

Thanks you sir.
It is yours.

By my count that is all 5 spoken for.
I have been a bit preoccupied lately with Bladesports Competition but there is about to be a break in the action.
I have one very old order that I am focusing on this week till I get it finished.
After that I will start tapering tangs and doing finish grinds.
Thanks for your patience.

If you aren't having fun why are you working for yourself?
Bladesports isn't goofing off when there is "blade" right in the title!

I love what I get to do.
Staying home with the kids is the best part and being able to make knives is just a bonus.
Bladesports is a hobby, but a very addicting and expensive hobby.
When you figure that each knife has roughly $150+ in materials alone before any work is done.
Plus after each competition I identify something that I want to alter that could make for a better knife.

These Voyagers are icing on the cake.
I like every aspect of the knife and can explain why I chose each aspect of the design.
Thanks for all of your support.
I would not be able to do this without all you guys.

The voyager is a really cool idea. I like the direction you're going with the sign ups. I was lucky enough to get one of the mucks and I'm looking forward to what's next.

Big Chris is out in the shop early today, working on the Voyagers. Thank you to everyone who is purchasing this round. I think this is a great design!
