Just recently finished this up, I’m thrilled with how the knife and sheath turned out. The sheath is similar to the first pancake style sheath I made, but larger and with a few small changes. I’d appreciate feedback on how to improve!

Is there a welt on the sheath?

Yep, but only along the edge, spine, and front edge of the handle. The belt loops are only two layers of a leather, an improvement from my last one.

Decided to try doing a 3D (raised) exotic inlay. I had a piece of shark skin so....did this. Working the edges now. LOTS of lessons learned. this sheath fought me the entire way!

Could not arse to pay 50€ for some flimsy cordura pocket organizer quickly sewn with machines so I made myself one from leather. Two narrow pockets for pen and screw driver, back got shallower pocket for knipex cobra xs and middle has space for something else in future (notepaper or bit kit, we’ll see).

Needs some edge polishing but I was dead tired yesterday. I took it today with me to work for some pics.

Great work as always Dave. I thought you quit making those dangerous round knives. They really do want to hurt you the murderous little nasties. I do love them so though.
