What Buck are you carrying today?

I’m on call this weekend and I have to stay close to home so I have a 501 Larrin in my pocket. It goes with me every where no matter what else I carry. Then if I get called to work I’ll clip my Vantage pro in my pocket. Otherwise I’ll probably carry my 110 sport with me to do chores around the house and yard.

I wish I wasn’t on call, I’d like to go to the grasslands down along the Dry Cimarron River and ponds to do some fishing and cook some fish over a campfire. It’s much cooler this week and it’s nice outdoors.

The fishing gives you something to look forward to when not in call. Sounds like a great way to spend some outdoor time. Fish cooked over an open fire sounds really good
 
I haven't been posting the past few days, because I've been busy since Thursday night trying to clean up damage from a flash flood. My daily wear has been knee high Muck Boots and the indestructible "beater Buck."
(Well, pants, and a t-shirt too. I posted pics of some of the flood damage are on Carl's Lounge, in the Traditional Forum)

Great blade and company! I just happened to come across and watch this video interview with Willey Knives. During the interview they mention that C.J. Buck will be coming by their store soon this fall. Looks like a great family story and retail space with a special relationship with Buck Knives for many years.

I was flying out to the 35 the BCCI get to gether but unfortunately developed a bad case of Atrile fibrilation and spent a week in the VA hospital to get a ablation.. David went and was talking to CJ about the reason I wasn't there. CJ walked over to a nearby table and picked up a new green 422 to give me.. It was signed CJ Buck 2021. That's been my 'Desk Buck's for the last few days..
 
We're still busy cleaning up the damage from the flash flood a week ago. I've been carrying my other "beater Buck", the 112 Slim Select the last several days, and it's been seeing a lot of use. I'm finished with my morning coffee, so I'll just get on back to work.
