What Buck are you carrying today?

Custom shop 55 arrived, handy little knife. This one is pretty close to ideal pocket carry size, but I wish Buck had something in this configuration just slightly larger. The 112 and 110 are just a bit much for everyday pocket carry for me.

Well, was getting ready to go for a walk, checked email and a package that was scheduled for delivery tomorrow is on the truck and out for delivery today. Could happen anytime between now and 10pm. So now I'm lounging around in shorts and t-shirt, waiting to see if delivery will be soon enough to go walk before the heat builds.

Try a Buck 501 - I think that'll fit the bill quite nicely. A 500 or a 532 are a little larger, still - about the size of a 112 - but thinner and lighter, and might also be what you're looking for.

+1 on the 501. It'll be between the 55 and the 112/ 500/ 532. I don't have a 501, but here's a comparison between the 112/ 500/ 532 just in case you haven't seen one. I find the 532 feels nicest in my hand and is the slimmest of the three. The 500 is less chunky and feels it. All three are substantial, but not as much so as the 110.

Thanks yeah, I thought about a 501 but wanted the clip blade instead of drop point.

No, by the time they were done tearing the stuff off the landing, it was late enough heat was going to be an issue for me.

I'll be glad when they get the work done.

I also hope it doesn't rain tomorrow as the wrap has openings and gaps, especially around exterior light fixtures, and the door and window frames.
