What Buck are you carrying today?

Work crew has been out since 0700, today they're working the replacement siding on the exterior of the 4 apartments block including mine. So, I'll be hanging out inside instead of weaving through the crew and their gear. The diminutive 379 on package duty today. Recycled snap.

I have been using the heck out of this one. CPM 154 is a great steel and the nylon handle is incredibly durable. I think I get more out of this knife than my traditional 110s.

I re-read my post and I wonder whether the reason I get so much out of the Smokejumper is because I'm not afraid to thrash it like I'm Joe X's little brother.

I don't baby my 110s or 112s by any means, but I try to keep them clean, and try not to damage the wood grips too much. When I know I'm going to be getting into the muddy or nasty stuff, I try to switch to the 110LT or the 112 Slim Select.

Same here: I dont really coddle my full metal 110s. Yes, I'm that jackass who will drive a nail with the butt of a 110 to hang a picture in drywall, crack walnuts, knock a dent out of a piece of metal, reset a rivet. (Don't do these with the aluminum framed 110, though. At the SPA service Buck asked me if I owned a pet alligator.)
