What Buck Do You Have on Order? Or in the Mail?

I have a 110 being made for me (which will take a while, I suppose) and thought I was done.
Famous last words!
They suckered me in:

Wise decision.
I'm unsure how warranty work on the auto knives would take place due to Buck not shipping them to individuals because of federal restrictions.

I'm guessing it becomes important to purchase such knives from a reputable dealer that would become your liason in the event of a warranty claim.

A good price doesn't always make for a good buy.
😎

I have no idea with the Warranty, either.
I'll let the seller deal with it.
Obviously, I'm going to be forced to buy the 112 Auto Elite from BladeHQ in the near future...

In the past Buck extended sale prices to the dealers during the Christmas and Father's Day sales events held at the factory. They stopped that, dealer exclusives and SFOs.
I purchased my autos during those sales.

I'm concerned about Buck's commitment to their dealers in the future. Many have little to no stock in Buck knives.
We need to retain the ability to go to a dealer and see and handle a product.
Not everyone lives within driving distance to Post Falls.
Not everyone is going to a national knife event.
Not everyone is going to internet purchase a knife just to check it out. And returning a knife is a hassle.
Reselling it has consequences with current 1099 PayPal rules.......

Just sayin.
I'm not complaining, I just have concerns with the direction of things.
🤔

Good news, return accepted.
There's something grinding in there right up at the pivot.
Is this a common occurance with the Auto 110/112s?

I agree with going to a dealer.
The PA dealers either don't answer the phone or don't know if they're going to handle the auto knives.
I purchased one Buck model which I wouldn't have bought if I saw it in person, it struck me as being a cheap beater knife that you throw in the tool box.

I was looking at the 112 auto a few weeks back but when I tried to put it in my cart Buck wouldn’t let me seeing as how I’m in PA. Now comes the new year and with HB1929 being signed we can have auto knives, so I’ll try again next purchase. I’ve already spent my knife allowance for a little while. 😉

The fact that you are in PA may not be the only reason. As I understand it, Buck will only ship automatic knives to people who meet certain criteria regardless of where they reside. Unless you are one of those people, you might still have trouble ordering automatic knives directly from Buck even after the law is passed in PA.

Fortunately, there are plenty of dealers who will ship.

That 841 Sprint Pro Carbon Fiber showed up already.
I thought that red pocket clip looked so nice and now that it's here, that clip is really cumbersome so now I have a nice knife in one pocket and a big red clip in a box!

Picked up a couple magnacuts in the feeding frenzy yesterday. Still waiting on my spas. I'm just gonna tell the wife to have my coffin dug up, and slip them in there with me once they get here....
