:) Lampropeltis Mexciana Alterna- LMALTERNA . Until it was changed it was the taxonomic name for the Grey Banded Kingsnake. When I chose my name, the Alterna were still classed as a variant of the Variable Kingsnake(Lampropeltis mexicana).

I was a keeper and breeder of SW US king and milk snakes. Pretty much guaranteed to always get that screen name wherever I go- especially since they changed the classification. Best pet breed was either Arizona Mountain King or California Mountain King. FAR better newbie pets that boids. That should trigger some people! LOL!

I know where that is,but not super familiar with the area. I'm originally from a bit further west. Dickenson county for the first 14 years of life,then Russell county until 2008. My Grandmother lives in Wytheville 🤠👍

Why are you dying? Why would that be bold? It’s David Allan Coe btw.

David has so many good tunes it’s hard to pick just one. I played 12 dates with him in Texas. “You Never Even Called Me By My Name” was a favorite of mine. “The Ride”, “Longhaired Redneck”, “Willie, Waylon, & Me”, and one off of his XXX album. “If That Ain’t Country” was also a classic.

I played them all…or whatever was on the set list for the night.

The Ride…definitely a classic imo. I was lucky enough to see him live twice, but all in FL, so you weren’t playing then I guess.
