Looks like an awesome time Jon!! Happy New Year everyone. Recycled pic of the knives I'm ringing in the new year with this evening.

The last 2 years have been interesting going through knives, acquiring new ones and trying them, making decisions on what works best and what I like most. Have made decisions on most of the horde, need to concentrate on some Buck folders and a few fixed-blades this year.

Not sure if I'll be posting daily or weekly in 2024, will see how things shake out. Might be a bit repetitive.

Anywhos.

Bucks going through the wringer - 503, 112, and 055.

I'm pretty sure the 503 will stay. Likely the 055 will get gifted/ traded. I'd like to find a 500 drop-point to compare to the 112, I think I'd prefer a slimmer profile. Will be looking for a 303 in Dymondwood to try, and have a line on a 532. Then I'll be taking a harder look at the fixed-blades.

I hope everyone has a safe and healthy New Year. :)

Good afternoon Porchsters,

Happy New Year to you all !

I have started this year as I hope to continue it, in my shed. :)

Carried one of the Ablett for inspiration on the creation of a bunny knife. :) Scales are real ebony about 30yr old, not that newfangled stuff. Is was very handy for marking out my creation.

First post of 2024 for me.
I was not planning to stay up this late however I decided to start baking bread again for my wife and daughters as part of my New Year’s resolutions 😊

I used the very sharp fang of my Viper to score the dough

Sounds like a win-win for you and her! Looks tasty!

I’m always eager to see your carries Gordon. Always 100% class 👌🏼. Happy New Year!

Looking forward to seeing Boys in the Boat later.View attachment 2441418
Great duo for ‘24. Have a great one Bob!

Love that camel bone Tyler. Hope you and the family have a great one today.

Two in the pockets, one on the belt. I carried the 113 on the weekends much more than I posted last year. It’s such a trusty worker around the house. Thanks Gordon! My wife has taken a liking to it now. I’m keeping close tabs on it these days 😂.
