What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Two similarly colored knives with the dye fading out where the delrin/bone is sanded down.

I've worn this Wenger wristwatch every day since Vik gave it to me around 30 years ago. Not so common since the dawning of the smartfone addiction, I guess, but I feel lost without it. Sign of being an old guy? The battery died while we were in Georgia, so it's off to the jeweler for my annual visit to have him put a new one in.
I cannot estimate how many times I've looked at the bare, untanned back of my wrist since Saturday.

Fine set-up. I can't leave the house without a watch even though I have a very accurate idea of the time. Yes I have a phone, but it's not smart :eek: does tell the time but who looks at that? 🤣

I started installing my own batteries last year as it's now 25€ a go to have a jeweller do it for you, adds up too. Had lot of success except with one Timex whose back I cannot get back on...One watch has these tiny screws for the back so lot of care needed there plus squinting through loupe at times🔬.
 
A walk in the park raining and cold after a visit to the Doctors.

Bantam in my pocket.

What a sight to see 2 little signets swimming with mom and dad,when tired they crawled onto moms back for a boat ride.

I got quite cold watching them for so long but it was worth it.

Then I nipped into a cracking community cafe nearby for home made tomatoe soup which was delicious and warmed me up.


JTF top tip,when it’s raining don’t wear a mesh baseball cap. 😄

I can't live without watch either, even having phone in my pocket because I cant or wont stare my phone all the time.

...........it was actually my dinner - instructions from the missus to get rid of the eggs n bacon in the fridge that were past sell-by date while she was out for the night.

Not the breakfast of kings, as some call it.........perhaps, dinner of paupers

Cat scroungers - oh, yes - one of the two boys always lurks. Never fed from the table, so the biggest commotion is when I have finished and walk the plates back into the kitchen - they know that's their tit-bit time..!
