What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I posted this in the smooth bone thread, but figured since I'm totin' it today, I'd add it here.

I like what Case did with this smooth yellow bone. Reminiscent of the classic yellow delrin, but still has the character and feel of the bone. I like the contrast of the black shield too.

Another gray start to the day here in the City by the Bay! Downtown the sun is shining and it’s already starting to break through here on the western edge of the City. Nothing on the agenda other than waiting for Postie Mike with a CRKT auto conversion I bought. In the meantime keeping me the usual lamb and little SAK. Have a great day folks! 😀

Goin to town in a bit for errands and then this afternoon going to a niece's house for a High School Graduation BBQ for her son. I'm gonna give him fifty bucks, shake his hand, and advise him to go into the U. S. Navy. I'll tote this SS Vintage Bone Sowbelly.

Carried my 23 in Pioneer Bone today. This was my first GEC, which I bought new in 2014. It was made in 2012 and sat for sale for two years before I snatched it up. Hard to believe that this was once the norm. Still one of my favorite knives, and I'm so glad that I was given the opportunity to pick it up.

This Barlow Bearcat Club Barlow has quickly become one of my all time favorites. Firstly, I love an 86 Barlow with a clip point blade, that is no surprise as the Bladeforums Barlow is probably my all time favorite traditional knife. But this Smooth Emerald Green Barlow is very special to me for a host of reasons: it dropped the same week my daughter was born and her birthstone is Emerald. The serial number is my birth year and in reverse my Barlow Bearcat Membership number and the etch is absolutely epic and I get to enjoy it because of the stainless blade! It’s a blessing to be apart such great communities and enjoy such amazing knives.

Have a great day everyone 😃

Nice bone !!!
Looks like one Canal Street Cutlery may have produced for MM.
Thanks! Yes, this a Canal Street Pinch. CSC made most of Moore Makers Pinch lockbacks. My understanding is Bear made a few late in the run. The bone is actually some kind of stag. It kind of looks like whitetail to me, but I purchased the knife second hand, without box or paperwork. Or shield for that matter. Our own Eric Albers ea42 ea42 saw a pic of it shieldless and very kindly sent me a shield 👍
