What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

So, an elephant walks in to a corset shop and says to the clerk "Hey, got anything in blueberry?"

Embarrassed, the clerk replied "Say - what part of town do you think you're in?"

To which the elephant sighed "Oh no... it's happening again..."

I don't know where I'm going with this, so feel free to finish that one up for yourselves. Carte blanche.

Joined a ministry that goes into the juvenile detention facility to talk to the kids and try to show them a better way. Couldn't bring a knife in, obviously, but left this 92 in the truck. It was a most generous and appreciated gift from r8shell r8shell 10 years ago. At that time, it had buffalo horn scales. I had it on me at the 2016 GEC rendezvous, and every knife with horn that I took out there that year warped pretty badly. I ended up sending this one in to glennbad glennbad who rehandled it in this beautiful bone. Hard to believe that I've had this one for 10 years now, but it adds up as this knife has probably seen more pocket time than any other traditional I have over the last 10 years.

It's a shame about the horn, but wow, that bone is beautiful! I can't remember, is that the original shield? Either way, glennbad glennbad is the master at upgrading knives!

I'm kinda smitten by this barnboard celluloid, but if it ever starts shrinking or outgassing, I know where I'm gonna send it. ;)

This Barlow Bearcat Club Barlow has quickly become one of my all time favorites. Firstly, I love an 86 Barlow with a clip point blade, that is no surprise as the Bladeforums Barlow is probably my all time favorite traditional knife. But this Smooth Emerald Green Barlow is very special to me for a host of reasons: it dropped the same week my daughter was born and her birthstone is Emerald. The serial number is my birth year and in reverse my Barlow Bearcat Membership number and the etch is absolutely epic and I get to enjoy it because of the stainless blade! It’s a blessing to be apart such great communities and enjoy such amazing knives.

Have a great day everyone 😃

That's a lot of cool attachments to the knife. It's good to see it out and used/loved on. And congrats on the little one!

Glenn sure did right by me on the two knives he's worked on. He knocked it out of the park on both.

That is a new shield that Glenn put on for me. Here's the knife back in it's Buffalo days:
