Kept the Wenger next to my recliner for a couple of days before I could wear pants.

I received a cool new titanium ball and socket joint in a hip last Tuesday. Put on jeans Friday and Saturday to sit on garden benches and shoot well water trying to simulate a soaking rain.
Blessed to be able to leave the walker at home and sporting a home made cane, make it to church yesterday. It was our new Pastor's first service with us, and did not want to miss it. And picked up a fat t-bone for Vik to grill for the three of us.
She did it to perfection, and I did not mock her for having to research grilling a t-bone on the internet.
First day back behind the wheel today. Made sure I quit the two narcotics they sent me home with so I could start driving.
Jeff, wishing you a speedy recovery! I received the same titanium implements at the end of 2019. Good luck with rehab, and hope you’re back to yourself soon. Lance

Best wishes for a quick recovery
Thanks, and always good to see your Rodgers Bone clad 17 Jack!
Jeff, I forgot now you get to look forward to being wanded when you set off the alarm at the airport 😀
I may never fly again, Dan. Just too much rigamarole, and too crowded. Both in the airports and onboard.
In July, we're flying three Granddaughters from Ga to Co, but we are driving.
But getting by the metal detector at our courthouse to file our annual guardianship report might be interesting.
Last time, I forgot about a knife, but the deputy hung onto it for me🤪
That's very nice of you to say, and I'm glad you had a nice chat. Best wishes for the healing hip.

Prayers for a full and speedy recovery.
The metal detector should not cause issues or at least it did not for my wife with a surgical steel disk and hardware fro a back fusion. Every place is different though.

I had a nice video chat with my boy exchanging Father's Day love. As a Dad 1000 miles apart from his Son, I can assure you that your Dad loved your zoom visit. Best to you, my friend.

Besides the horn, I like that blade.🤙
Good belly for slicing, and no one is going to break that tip.

I'm sure it was a great day for you, Harry.
What did he choose out of the museum?

About three years ago, Josh needed my help on some home repairs, so I drove out to Colorado. Replaced the kitchen faucet for my Daughter-In-Law, opened the wall behind the downstairs shower to replace leaking water lines, and install the fixtures she bought off Amazon, which did not fit, and patch and reshingle the roof where a tree limb came through it.
No way I could do that stuff right now.
I am making a list of things he can help me with next time he can get home.

I love your hat, and would like to see the entire thing. If you have enough film in your smartfone.
I must say, though, that it looks a bit warm for June in Kentucky!

I had the hat in my FJ as we headed to the U.P Michigan today for vacation. I actually live in west central Illinois. I grew up in KY and took my username because I had some Ky hunts planned years ago with my kid brother.

Sounds like you're on the way to a good recovery, amigo. Wishing you the best.

Thought it would be a good idea to carry stainless today since I would be running a pressure washer all day at work. Turns out I was right as I was soaking wet all day. Case 6383 whittler, chestnut jigged bone. Full disclosure though, the knife stayed in the truck for the entire work day.

Had a little free time at the end of the workday to put the finishing touches on a little arrow quiver to go with the bow for granddaughters upcoming birthday.

It was a pretty good day Jeff . He finally admitted that he sometimes should have a knife in his pocket .
This is the first one he picked out .

Then he chose this one .

Then I gave him this one so that he could have a very sturdy user .
