When the boy, his wife, and son were in Scotland, and we visited, I was smitten by the little instant water heaters in the showers and under sinks. We asked about them when ours gave up, but too spendy.

Switched up . The sea foam green one is now packed up going to a friendly customer . I'll be getting a very small batch in next week though . Air weight , value .

Jeff, my BIL had a couple of those, and they worked OK, but were quite expensive, as you discovered. I decided to replace what I had, as I really couldn't see an upside to changing.

I think when I was in England the water heaters were on-demand at point of use, and for sure they were called (gas) geysers. And for sure they were on demand.
Here's a knife that seems to excite others less than it does me.
A drop-forged 8" Bowie with a flat "grind".
