Hope power is back. Coffee perked in an enamel covered pot, heated over gas just tastes better to me.Knives chosen by flashlight.

Woke up with no power. As usual, there's a tree down, and again as usual, it's probably one particular property where some moron decided to plant trashy weeping willows along the highway under the power lines.
So got out the old coffee pot. Just another reason to have a gas range ~ no electricity needed. And precisely why I keep some ground coffee along with my usual whole bean.

Don't forget to replace your salts and electrolytes. Plain water won't prevent heat stroke.
I've been huffing and puffing strenuously all morning and so far have only been able to "Break Wind".
Yeah, but by the time I got my daughter and me all shined up and dressed, and made scrambled eggs with mushrooms with goat cheese for her and her mom, I was late and overeager for that first cup. Fortunately, grounds in the brew don't bother me.Hope power is back. Coffee perked in an enamel covered pot, heated over gas just tastes better to me.
Here ya go, buddy ~Sorry I'm late to Blade Forums today. I've been practicing my whistling. Haven't been able to whistle since they cut part of my tongue out when I had my jaw replacement cancer surgery. Seems someone over on the 2024 Blade Forum Knife thread says I sound like some old whistling guy in a defunct TV show. I've been huffing and puffing strenuously all morning and so far have only been able to "Break Wind". They split my lip and left it sagging a bit so it's awfully hard to "pucker up buttercup" as the song goes. Totin this Birchwood 501 today. Sausage and eggs scrambled this morning.

I became a sort of collector of corporate buzz words way back when I had to sit through monthly meetings.A day full of remote meetings and other mundane tasks. This Crossroad in Smooth Brown/Green Dymalux is keeping me company and providing fidget fodder as I look at one boring slide after another!!

The only thing better would be balanced on a couple of rocks over a little campfire, eh?
Always good to have a gas burner and a couple of cartridges of propaneKnives chosen by flashlight.
