What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Might be a little later if this info on the company (according to BING) is accurate:
"According to available information, E.H. Best & Co. operated in Boston, MA from at least the late 1950s until it closed in 1971. It was located on Boylston Street in the Copley Square area, in a building that replaced the Hotel Brunswick. The store occupied the first two floors of this building."
New York Knife Company in Walden closed in 1931 so latest possible date is based on that.

The story of Edward H Best and the Best Felt company is intertwined with the industrial history of Camden, Maine. Originally a bustling blue-collar town, Camden was home to numerous manufacturing enterprises, including sawmills, gristmills, carriage factories, and shipyards. The Knox Woolen Mill, powered by the Megunticook River, stood as a prominent symbol of Camden's industrial prowess from the mid-1800s to 1988. Within the Knox Woolen Mill, the machines that produced woolen felts for the Edward H. Best Company of Hanover Massachusetts operated. When economic changes led to the closure of the Knox Mill in the late 20th century, John Rosseel, owner of the Edward H Best company, recognized the potential in the historic machinery used in the Knox Woolen Mill. In 1983, he purchased the equipment and relocated it to Thomaston, Maine. Under Rosseel's ownership and the guidance of dedicated individuals, the Edward H. Best Company continued its legacy of producing traditional woolen felts for niche markets and industrial manufacturers worldwide.

I also found this information. I think this is where I got my original information. https://www.allaboutpocketknives.co...pen-folding-pocket-knife-c-1888-1931-e-h-best

New knife day, this mint early 80's Schrade Lb1 just arrived and I'll be carrying it for the next few weeks or so.

I love small knives and knew it was going to be a little guy, but was pleasantly surprised at just how small it really is.

I could use it just fine without the little leather fob I added since I'm used to small knives, but getting it out of my pocket organizer is a different story.
