What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I too find that moment in Dallas interesting. So many theories and opinions!
I guess I am getting like a 15 year old dog too. So I can empathize with your best friend.
Bob and 5K Qs 5K Qs one of my favorite client nonfiction books is called DALLAS 1963, which is a narrative history of the city from fall of ‘60 until November 1963. Well reported, impeccably sourced and with award-winning journalists’ prose that reads like fiction. Suggested reading if you like history from this era!IMG_6299.jpeg

I saved this one from the display case at a hardware store. It needs a stropping or light sharpening. It has a burr on both sides.
You took me back to how I got my first Craftsman and Schrade knives. Ah, the good 'ol days..
I really like these S&M jacks.

Well, that worked out well, since you're totin three!
Hard to beat a good Jack🤙
Thanks, Dave. I need to find another red bone knife to add to my accumulation, currently only have two.

Thanks, Jeff. I think it was one of the last GEC's I was able to purchase directly from a dealer, made in 2017. Anymore I have given up attempting to score on a drop on a GEC knife.
Let's not tell anybody that you can find great vintage knives at The Blade Show for a lot less $!

When I first heard about GEC knives here in the Porch, I looked on the bay, and found my Bullnose and 54 Jack used for regular used knife prices.

"Abby" the Hoarder isn't feeling well so we're off to the Vet with her - suspect a bladder infection. Worries me when our pets are out of sort. She's in for a lot of pampering. I'll tote a Scout Trapper. We'll get a to-go breakfast sandwich on the way home at the Java Doc.
