And thanks, Gary, this one is a second (big Xs through the tang stamp) so no shield. But I sure don't know why. With its near perfect walk and talk and generous nail nicks it makes a wonderful EDC.

This combo seems to pop up a lot in my posts. The Camillus is everywhere I go, and the Oregon Trapper just because it's awesome. My esteem for the #43 never wanes. Everything about it rings true with me.

And thanks for showing that lovely oldie again ~ I love the stag! Your shot of blackberries is a welcome sight. Our weather went from tee shirt weather for a few glorious days, to low thirties with heavy wet snow yesterday, and rain showers today.
