For Random Carry Tuesday, this is one of the most random knives I own.

I’d like the story on that warrior!

What kind of knife is this and what's up with the three large, raised, round things? I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that before.
For those curious, here's the backstory:

Headed to town for hose washers, a drop off at the post office, a prescription pick up, breakfast at the Wagon Wheel Cafe and grocery shopping at the Holiday Market and at Four Corners Market. Totin this Scout Trapper that I'm slowly breaking in. It's a really nice knife gifted to me by John JohnDF JohnDF .It's so nice I've put off using it but it's time to wear it in, give it a bit of patina, and scuff it up a bit. After all, it can't truly be a Modoc knife if it isn't worthy of going to the Modoc Auction Yard for cattle sales when they have them, or the 4H Roundup, or the rodeo over in Ceaderville.
