  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What was your first knife?

my first folder was a single blade SAK my dad bought me when I was 7. My first fixed was a double edged ka-bar boot knife my older brothers thought would make a nice 8 year old's birthday present. I wasn't allowed to play with it til I was 10. that was over 32 years ago. i still have both.

A vic tinker that my father brought back from Switzerland. Unfortunately it was stolen from our hotel room in Fl. one year. It even had my name engraved on it.

My first more modern design was a first gen spyderco delica that my brother gave me for Christmas in high school.

an early 70's big 2 blade camillus #26 was my grandads i got it when i was 14 or so, 25 years later still carry it occasionally, when we go out shooting...
sheath was something my grandad had made or picked up for it back in the mid 70's dunno as its not marked
shown with my soddie for size comparison...
regards
gene
PS i carried that every day all through highschool, no problems different times
