What's your newest Buck knife

Just picked up my 117 today from the local knife shop. Asked him to get one for me quite a while ago and he finally was able to order some new Bucks and they came in late yesterday. 2023 date stamp (of course!). My new favorite!

I will have to get a fixed-blade family portrait soon (119, 117, 105, 102).

In case you don't know, I collect the Buck knives that come in combos that are in gift tins. I have maybe 100 different ones. Here is I think the latest one for 2023. Helpful hint: If you are interested in ones that just came out, you'll typically see them for a high price on ebay, since they are new. Do a Google search for that particular knife combo and generally you will be able to locate the original source at a much lower cost. These pictures are dark because they were reflecting too much with the light on them and I'm too lazy to make it better. The knives themselves are not that noteworthy. A generic "large folder linerlock" is paired with a 385 Toothpick. They are in 7Cr17 and 3Cr13 steel, respectively. The handle, although not premium, is in a rather nice looking brown pakkawood.

OK. Sometimes you get something that blows your mind. I feel compelled to share it with you. It's a Buck 124 with beautiful leather spacers juxtaposed against the new Buck winter hat for contrast. The knife was done by Ghostown Custom Knives. He never ceases to amaze me with his skills.

Oh. Did you ask what else was in the package with the 124? It is Ghostown's Halloween 110 and 112 knife set. I have serial # "00" for the set. Mandy and Huck agreed to make a 112 too. They are nickel-silver drop points. They've been antiqued for a spookier look. The handle has a very detailed Halloween scene. The bolsters have a nice web design and the blade has file-work in the shape of bones. Bravo, GCK! I've taken various pictures to try to accent all the knife features. Of course, my pictures, as usual, don't do the knives justice.

Pssst... Christmas presents came in. Don't tell anyone. 1st is for my batman loving son. I am really happy that the colors are perfect. I was worried before ordering that the colors would be off and he wouldn't get the idea. The other is for my older son, who's got a nice collection going now.

My newest, (but not new) and biggest Buck, a 124 Frontiersman from 2016.
Edge has a slight convex done by the former owner.
Has a few battle scars on the pommel sides, but she's going to be a user anyway.
Big beefy knife, should be able to handle just about anything.
Unfortunately the handle has all the ergonomics of a brick! 🧱
