What's your newest Buck knife

Awesome! I somehow missed this when you first posted it. It's a looker!
Congrats on the red 309, I'm still looking for a red 305.

The stag 305 isn't not as much of a looker as my 1st but it's still nice and would definitely be a keeper if I didn't already have one.
I really only bought it because I could, and do so for less than 1/2 of what I payed for my 1st.
They don't pop up often enough, and I just had to snag it to eventually pass along to somebody here on the forums.
It will stay in my collection until one of you guys needs it and happens to have one of the Bucks on my list available for trade especially if it's a red or either yellow 305's

Arghhh! I saw a saw-cut yellow 305 a few days ago with a single low bid. I figured it must be you, and I didn't want to bid against you. Someone got a deal on that one.

Congrats on the red 309, I'm still looking for a red 305.
Thanks! I'm pretty sure I got it because it's nowhere near mint. It still has a lot of life in it though. This is my second single-spring 309, and they really disappear in the pocket. It'd be nice if Buck surprised us with a return of the 305's and 309's, but I'm not holding my breath.

Here's one I was lucky to get. Right place at the right time. Even though it was made with a 50th Anniversary blade, which would make it 2022, I am told they were sold at a Buck end-of-the-year factory sale in 2021. It's Black Phenolic, Finger Grooved, with a Black Oxide blade.

The BCCI site says it's etched and I wasn't going to buy one...but if it is stamped I will.

Well, I'm not qualified to tell the difference if something is laser etched or stamped. But the letters on the tang are recessed into the metal. It's not as deeply imbedded as the other side of the tang, which has the BUCK/anvil/USA. So perhaps the BUCK/BCCI/USA/KNIVES is laser etched.

if the bcci side is laser etched it looks very deep. to my eye from your pic it looks like a stamp......

I just received mine. The BCCI side does appear to be laser etched to me but it is a deep etch. The other side is definitely stamped.

that^ pic doesn't come across like a laser etch...it appears deep like a stamping or just lighting tricking my eyes routine....

I can feel the "laser etch imprinting" so, like someone said, it's deep. But the other side is clearly deeper.

Happy Hippo that 112 sure is a neat REALLY odd 112!
I know, I was lucky to get it. I saw it for sale and was going to do some research to see what it was but I decided not to and then just said that I wanted it. If I had done the research, I wouldn't have gotten it because someone else also said they wanted it. When that guy said he wanted it, my post that said I wanted it hadn't even shown up to him yet. But when the timestamps were checked, I was 1 minute ahead. :) I also picked up this gray Corian one, which I thought was unusual because it was a SFO from a German dealer.
