What's your newest Buck knife

My very first Buck, so far so good!

Fine choice for a first Buck. Now you don't have a reason to buy any more.;)

I went fishing in the bay and hooked this for a good price. I think the handle is palm wood. Someone here can undoubtedly tell me for certain. I buffed out some shallow engraving on the bolster, but now I see I left some scratches. No big deal, it will be a user.

Grabbed this Sprint Select, because I love my other Sprints, but they’re too nice (and in one case irreplaceable) to beat on. This guy is everything I like about them at a fraction of the cost. Action is just as smooth, lockup is just as solid. The GRN handles are very nicely done and don’t feel cheap plasticky like some other brands. Really nice little knife that’s gonna get a lot of carry time.

Scored big on an online auction.

Buck 673 Bucklite Max, blaze orange, RMEF edition. Appears to be the Bucklite Max equivalent of the 113. I really like the size and the grip texture.

Oh, and a Selector! Been hunting for one of these for a little while. Very interesting concept. It's probably just going to collect dust on the shelf.

This is the one that almost got away. I went to the gun, jerky, honey, hot sauce, stamped concrete (what? why?) and a few knives show this morning. I saw this Buck 110 as soon as I walked in, but didn’t think much of it. I went back by before I left and looked at it and an old 500 Duke script with micarta. I was thinking in the parking lot that I have seen old 110s in pawn shops, but they usually have broken tips and look like they have been in tool boxes for years. Buck isn’t making any more two dots from the 1970s so I decided to go back in and get it. I knew it was in decent shape, but the brass was green when I bought it even though it didn’t come with a sheath. I started looking at it outside and realized that it was in really nice shape. I took it home, cleaned it up, and decided that it might not have ever been used. I think it still has its factory edge that easily slices thin paper. I think this is the fifth 110 version, variant 8 that was made from 1977-1980. Is that correct?

I am always surprised by how many old 110s have seen little use and clean up extraordinarily well. Judging by the kick on yours, I would say V5V9.

Danny Linguini Danny Linguini Thanks to your perpetual love of the Sprint series I also purchased a blue 840. In spite of my distaste (lessening) for the aesthetics of the handle, I really like it's slick action, blade profile, and outstanding value. Thank You SIr.👍
