What's your newest Buck knife

Peer pressure! You'll have to let me know if/when you're doing your next custom. I might have to follow suit.
I spent about a year thinking about this one I just received, I finally pulled the trigger when I saw you order a similar one so it was an easy choice. I have no idea what I’ll build next.. maybe a 110 or another 112, maybe a 501 to match this one. I’ll have to think about it but I do have the itch!

Since we are talking sheaths, I'll add my finds here also. Don't mind the Sharp sheath, it was part of the lot. Wondering if anyone has info on the 110 sheath with the no.110 at the top on the backside. Only ones I have seen the no.110 is on the bottom on the backside. Got them cleaned up too. Appreciate any info, thanks!!

The 110 on top is roughly 1969-1972 per the History of Buck knives pages --- They are my favorites I have a few - love old Buck Sheaths Enjoy Pete

The turnaround from the time I ordered to the time it was delivered ended up being 2 1/2 weeks. I'll be curious to see what it is now that magnacut was announced.

That's a lot faster than they advertise. I'm hoping I got in front of the of new magnacut builds at least a little bit. I waited a little more than an hour after I got the email.

Yeah, 2 1/2 weeks would sure be nice, but I think a "few" people may have jumped on that Magnacut 110 when it was announced. I'm not sure when the e-mail dropped, but I ordered one as soon as I saw it. I just checked & the credit card transaction notice was at 2:07 PM.

Mine would have been a little later. But not by much.

I can’t wait. I ordered brass, rivets and walnut. You will most likely have the glory of the first oak ordered in MagnaCut. Last year I did a walnut 110 and 112 for my kids and they turned out really nice. This will give me a special one from the custom shop. Looking forward to it.

I got on the custom shop site & built knives several times before, but never hit the "add to cart" button. All the wood choices look good, but I decided on oak/brass/no rivets right before I pulled the trigger. Now, if ironwood would've been one of the choices for the 110, like it is on the 113 Skinner, I probably would've splurged & paid the extra $$$.:)

Unless I'm missing something, Ironwood is an option for the 110.

I think I have designed 100 knives or more in the custom shop. Most of them had elk scales. Since I figured out how to do that myself I quit going to the site. That is, until MagnaCut became an option. I can’t do that in my home shop. It’s what “helped” me push the “add to cart button”. And I must admit, like you, ironwood will probably be my next build. It’s beautiful. Nothing quite like it.

That is going to look great!

Well, I had to go back & check. It is, ain't it? Duh!!!

I never really considered the handle options that were an added cost, because I liked all the $0 choices so much.
Well, it looks like Ironwood's going to be on my 112 Magnacut when they're available.:)
I really hope they add the 112 magnacut soon, I think I'll jump on that. Since I got my elk builds out of the way, I'll just have to decide on walnut, oak, or ironwood. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's magnacut builds for inspiration. 👍

I like the different look of the lighter color on my 112 with KOA wood, so I decided I'd try the oak. I'm probably wrong, but I don't recall seeing any oak on these pages before.

I think it will look great. And I'm with you I like the brass when it starts to get a little color change to it, almost golden.

Received the 112 TRX Pro that I recently ordered, but am returning it promptly, due to very uneven bevels on the blade, almost comically bad.

This is the 3rd of 5 non 420HC Bucks that ive ordered that has had a hack job on the bevels/angles, especially toward the heel in the last 2 years.

My Mini Deploy blackout and Saunter Legacy Edition both had terribly uneven, not even close to symmetrical, bevels from the factory. Ive been kicking myself for not exchanging them, so I'm definitely not accepting another $100 plus knife from Buck with terrible edge work.
