What's your newest Buck knife

Nice. What are they?
I usually buy new but some of my favorite purchases were used auction items. I like cleaning and polishing them to like new.

What’s the story on that Swiss Buck? Never heard of one?

Buck made an agreement with Wenger of Switzerland to manufacture SAK's for Buck to market in the USA.These were made between 1992 and 1996.Wenger was one of only two companies that made Swiss Army Knives. They were absorbed by Victorinox about 10 years ago.

There were many models. Here is a picture by Bucktool of these models.

I been eyeing those.
I like the light frame.
I assumed they were Chinese......
Now I want one.
Thanks.
yep American made. had been chinese I would have passed. not really my style of knife, but good price, thin stock should make them good slicers for everyday use and a nice compact size for those who cant carry a man's size folder....o_O:)

Those are on the cut list. Better snatch em up. Cool lightweight blades

Mike, I'm sure you noticed but the 111 has a 110 blade...blade swap or from factory?
Ive seen both. I dont know the history of this one. I will probably keep and eye out for a damascus blade. Would be pretty cool to have a 111 damascus

Thanks Mike! This 732 is my absolutely newest Buck and really seems like it will work out for me..I recently damaged my right elbow and have developed neuropathy in my right hand. I had to ask my son in law to open up some halfnhalf and decided right then to get one of Bucks multitool's..20191225_121845.jpg

I have pursued a few of these.
This one found me, and I'm extremely happy it did.
I like skinning blades, the shapes are just cool. And I think the 914 is one of my favorites.

Thanks Craig!!!
Without folks like you my collection wouldn't be near as nice as it is!

This is the one..The very last Custom shop 112 by Buck in 1993. It was shipped to a dealer in Virginia in August and 27 years later lands in my rare, odd one of one 112 collection. It is my first numbered Old Custom shop knife. Those 4 little numbers puts it one of only 127 by some accounts but it is number 0136. Mastodon Ivory Bucks were extremely popular back in the early 80's with several 110 LE's with a gold etch blade of a Mastodon and I believe quite a few big Bowie's and 900 series knives were handled too. While I was waiting for it to be delivered for about 2 minutes I was thinking how cool it would be to have Leroy swap in a Damascus blade and do a auto conversion but I found my mind lol! Thanks Mike for working with me and allowing me to be the custodian of such a nice part of Bucks history. Proud LM 1209..20200106_164300.jpg 20200106_164218.jpg 20200106_164327.jpg

I like the filework! After this Mastodon it would have to be something really special AND a real bargain..One great thing about collecting rare and odd 112's is some are not expensive. I just looked at a 3 line Micarta..

No it's a 3 line micarta..It could be a employee knife or perhaps a early reblade. Odd ones show up in Bucks from time to time. I'll see if I can screenshot a pic of it. Some of the best odd ones come from Buck executives for instance my Brother has a set of 110/112 in black micarta that would be called 7 pin..3 small pins on each end made just because they could.
