This is the odd 3 line micarta..Sorry about the poor image but believe me it is micarta not Ebony.

I clicked on the photo and it enlarged quite a bit.I can clearly see the texture of the Micarta.

I'm 99% sure it's a factory original..Buck had a few extra frames and used them up. But more likely a very early reblade. It looks NIB with a old patina.

I am impressed by this small knife with a big attitude. Wood scales contrast with the boosters and blue shield really add to the aesthetic.

Got my 112 Slim Pro in brown micarta today along with my limited edition 110 in 20CV. They are both excellent fit and finish, but the 112 is just about a perfect little knife for my pocket. Will be ordering a 110 Slim Pro now...
