Had a another hunch on this “ lightly used condition” 319. It’s a very early model, note the still square bolsters.

My two newest Bucks. Bought a 373 in February. Then I “had” to buy the 301 to compare the American made vs the foreign made ones. The 373 was slightly sharper out of the box and has a tighter pull. The 301 has much lighter pulls and needed to be lightly stropped to obtain the same sharpness

yes sir that is the only stamp on the guard--done with vintage buck stamp....because these blades are etched and this one did not get etched...

I like the weight also on the brass 119s. Have the 5160, phenolic and brass. Weight is perfect
