What's your newest Buck knife

Kathy's Dad and Brother both had Birthdays last week and since I gifted my Brother Charlie with one of the Flag 110's she asked me to find a nice one for them. I had forgotten how nice the 500 was..Thanks Buck! Especially for the killer BCCI discount..Kevin you are the Man!20200817_142934.jpg 20200817_143031.jpg

Gosh, my Bucks have lasted so long, the last one I bought was 7 years ago, another 501 Squire (looked it up on Amazon), my third since my first one around 1979-80. Heck, I even have my Folding Hunter from 1974 which was a popular duty knife in my agency.

It's a non COA TA-112...I plan to have a separate display for the take apart in Atlanta at next year's Blade Show and I needed another take apart to display. Plans are for now to remove the black anodized coating and polish it as I think it will make a very cool look. I'm also on the hunt for a drop point blade in S35VN or S30V and have that mirror polished too. My Brother has some interior Mastodon Ivory for a possible extra handles but I hope to find some white micarta and or Ironwood or Burl. I really like this platform and concept and think it would make a interesting display.
