very very cool. so much better without the partial serrations section.

I liked the looks of the 104 with the D2 blade that I received last week from SKblades so much, that I decided to get the 212 Ranger with the D2 steel from them as well.

It came in yesterday... it's too bad that the color of the burgundy micarta is so dark that it's difficult to tell that it's not black.

Black Cherry would of worked for the name of that Micarta. Nice display!

I liked the looks of the 104 with the D2 blade that I received last week from SKblades so much, that I decided to get the 212 Ranger with the D2 steel from them as well.

True enough... Black Cherry would be a better choice as the color description than the Burgundy that SK has it listed as.

Thanks for the compliment on the display stand, I had a lot of fun making it from odds n' ends "stuff" that I have squirreled away for projects that come to mind.

^^^^Nice. I just pulled the trigger on the 656. The 25% off I had made the decision easier. I bought a 661 last year in the 420HC which was just too small for my hands. I ended up gifting it to my brother and he loves it. It is his go to EDC. This baby is mine.

I have two of these 308s, both with stag. One I carry, got it on sale, the other is a safe queen. I really like it, carries so well because it's thin and with CMP154 on one blade and S30V on the other it is a wonderful knife.
