These are available now! I'm just a little bit excited to receive mine!

Hmm... which one to order? I went with Battle blue with blue/black g-10. What is everyone else liking?

Thanks for the prompt response. I was hoping it would the 3-inch version though

We went with the most popular size and the main grind we liked the best. Unfortunately, they all have to be the same per run so we really couldn't do the 3" or another grind.

Ditto!

Also, how well do they flip?

All my gen 4's flip great as long as you flip them as they were designed to flip. I have never had an earlier gen version to compare them to.

I ordered the battle blue and black g10. Received my shipping confirmation this morning.

Do you know what hardness they were able to achieve with the m390?

Any chance you can tell us a little more about these? Specifically, I'm curious as to what made you go to RHK and ask for this knife? I'm not a fan of choils, so I thank you for making this happen. I think a 3" slicer would be my first choice if I had RHK ear, but I can definitely understand the decision to go with the 3.5" in a spanto. I really appreciate the variety of colors and finishes offered as well.[emoji106]

They must be selling well. I can see that there are at least 3 color/finish combos no longer available. How many were available to begin with?

I was wondering the same thing. For some reason M390 gets more respect then 20cv and 204p. Maybe because it's the newest(I think) think I read its 3rd gen? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

20CV - Crucible
M390 - Bohler
204P - Carpenter

All great steels, with very little difference between them (if any in a practical sense)

Who came first? I don't know, but I don't inderstand any "excitement" that would result from doing this?

Maybe M4/S90/3V(not in a Sparrow) would be "exciting"

Well, I just like that it is new and different blade markings and without the choil. I was comparing my skinner cutting edge with a BM 950 Rift and they are just about identical except the BM has more edge because of the choil on the XM. Practical difference? Probably not.
