Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I’m not sure if it was this one or the previous Ancient I’d turned down and left in the display case “back when”. I was no stranger to GEC at the time but not quite understood the significance of a CC knife nor what Charlie was attempting with these.
Anyway, I said nah at the time and now I’ve paid the price 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do really like an all-steel 15 though so I’m a happy lad.
Do that mean she will get pocket time and use ... as intended by Charlie, Bill, and the specific cutler responsible for this beauty? 😇👍

Congrats on finding one. 😁👍

Picked up another Smith&Son MudBug but this one in Forest green Burlap Micarta. It goes well with my Slash Pine Fixed blade :)

Very nice brother ! I’ve got one to in Stag Sweetwater Creek Senator but in route. Unfortunately this one has been in the USPS Bermuda Triangle for about 10 days making its way around the country 😳 :( as I wait patently .
Thanks....hopefully they are not trying to develop a patina for you.

Well my RoseCraft Stag Sweetwater Creek Senator just showed up after almost a 2 week detour around the country thanks to usps lol. I have to say this is a well made knife and just might be the best bang for the buck traditional out there 😳🫣
It’s really hard to believe this knife can be offered at this price regardless were it was made. I’m glad I gave it a try no doubt .

I was lucky to score one although not a perfect example it’s close but I’m still very happy with it.
Case Smokey Valley Sunset Autumn Bone Small swell center Jack 👍🏻
Both blades flush at the half stop, no gaps in the back springs. Beautiful bone show side with pile side almost as good. The only flaw I could find is the main blade has a little rub at at the tip. All in all still very happy was able to get one they sold out super fast.

It's too dark for me to get a good picture, but my grandmother just gave me her Fathers Schrade 8OT stockman which I am more than happy to care for.

The stockman and especially this size isn't really a pattern I favor very much, so I won't have to worry about doing much to it.
I'll scrub the little bit of rust off with some steel wool, oil it, and hopefully bring some closing snap back into the main blade.
Otherwise I probably won't even bother sharpening it.

She also gave me another little crackerjack prize knife from her childhood as well.

The lighting isn't the best, but I got it cleaned up, oiled it, and I no longer have to help the blades shut all the way.
The snap isn't what you'd want in a user, but I'm just glad to see the life it has left in case I ever did want to use it.
The rust wasn't too bad but it's all gone now

I'll never know for sure, but based on the fading of the covers I'd bet money that it went through the washing machine a time or two.
I never got to meet my mom's grandfather but from what I've been told he was a great man who did his best to keep food on the table and I'm definitely happy to have his last pocket knife.
