IMG_8273.jpegI just received this today. The brand is “Battle Axe”, from Solingen, Germany. I had never heard of them before, but was drawn to it first by the jigged bone scales. It checked a couple of other boxes for me as well, since 3 1/4” to 4” stockmen with square bolsters are my favorite. I couldn’t find much information regarding the brand online. If anyone has any information, that they would like to share, I would love to hear it. Thanks in advance! Lance

Received this RoseCraft Nolichucky in stag and 2014 Case Peanut today.

The RoseCraft is as great as every other one I’ve received.

The Case was advertised as brown jigged bone, but it’s totes Delrin. That said, for what I paid, it was still a good deal, and it came sharp, tight, and right. Great little knife.

Saw lots and lots of very nice old and custom knives at Old School Knife Works in Otto, NC today, but ended up with a couple new Cases. Pocket Worn Sodbuster Jr. in Caribbean blue bone, and a Pocket Worn Mini Copperlock in Old Red bone. Fit and finish on both is just perfect.

These are my newest additions. This new Marbles Kamp King pen knife caught my eye and was a bargain price. Decided that since I was paying for shipping I would go ahead and throw in a classic carbon lockback. They are both awesome, the lockback is already showing a little patina from use today.

Wow, that's a beauty. I really have a "thing" for the smaller lockbacks. I found an LB5 and sheath in excellent condition earlier this year. (I later found a Buck 501 and then a Buck 055.) I carry the 055 around home every day, and I plan on carrying the LB5 today when I'm "out and about."

Thank you sir!

Received this purdy Mini Copperlock in olive green Crandall jig today. It’s definitely a humdinger and I really like it… dare I say… even more than the red one my dear mother recently bought for me.

Additionally, it’s another example of recent knives I’ve purchased indicating Case can hit the mark in terms of fit and finish. Pretty much everything is spot on. The ONLY flaw I can find is that the lock bar is ever so slightly proud (I mean, juuust enough to grab a nail) in the open position, but it’s completely flush in the closed.

Most of my recent new additions have been on the small side, like the 2006 BF knife I posted last week, and these #22s GEC has been working on.

Took a bit of a U-turn on that with this Opinel No. 13 that arrived today. 😁

Now good luck with finding a cheese or sausage of corresponding dimensions to test the slicing prowess 😍 Brobdingnagian:eek::)
