Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

My first Cattle Knife came in a couple weeks back courtesy of Jean-Marc 🙏.
I always fancied this 35 but already had the Johnny On The Spot camp knife and back then I was sensible 😒

Another (mostly)all steel knife in the group though is a fine thing!

This knife does not disappoint and looks/feels even better in hand.

*there will be no blade deletes here.

That is the best fan dangle picture of the exquisite 35 cattle knife I recon I have ever seen.

Found this 2014 SMKW special 303 on the auction site recently. Nickel silver bolster/liners and pins, cherry Dymondwood handles. Cleanup and a few minutes on the Lansky and I've been carrying it since. The pepper spots on the blades give it character.

I had the day off and went antiquing and bar-flying with my brother for the first time in months. Maybe it's as well I don't do this every week; I spent 65 bucks. (There was also a small cream jug and a pair of lead glass candle sticks, and a box of reflectors, mostly red.)

And I forgot one:

And I still forgot the red box the Colonial was in, but never mind.

My Wife surprised me with this one for Christmas and it just came in today and is now in my LF Pocket . Once a new knife arrives , it MUST be opened and inspected .
Puma 4 Star ( the 4 " ) size one in Stag . They do have a smaller one just like it . This is not a small knife and I like it a lot . I went through all of my checks with it and I have No Complaints at all . F & F is good , No Gaps , Locks upTight , Lock Release is Smooth , Transitions of Stag to Bolsters are way better than I thought they would be . I would have preferred some of the Old Stag with much deeper features but you don't get any choices on that anymore .
Edited to add : Any Sharp Edges on the Stag had been removed by Puma . They are smoothed off just as I was prepared to do .

I have always considered PUMA to be a Premier Knife and this fits that belief .

A fine surprise Harry. The stag will age nicely.
