We're practically neighbors. I live on Onondaga Hill and my oldest son lives in Camillus. Love those Fisk OVBs! I've visited Rock USA a few times. Nice little Camillus Knife Museum they have there, and a nice selection of Camillus knives, for the collector..

My evolving Camillus collection. I do actually live in Camillus and have had a great time getting to know Wallace Rockwell, the maker behind a few of these, including the Jerry Fisk / OVB Hunters.
Hey, awesome! Fun to find local people on forums… I’m down off Kasson Rd across from Westvale Golf Course. That Tiger Maple Fisk Hunter, believe it or not, is number 001 of the 500 limited run. The other in Bubinga is 048. Wonderful for Wallace that he is retiring, but I’m pretty bummed that his shop and museum won’t be around anymore. We're practically neighbors. So many good people here, Yourself and Todd included.

You’re very welcome Jeremy it looks so much better there than it did just sitting here on my shelf. It’s home. The kindness shown here continues to astound me. I mentioned in passing in the totin' thread how I missed a micarta 44 that I had sold off during my initial foray into traditional knives. Not long afterward, I had a message from Todd offering me a sweetheart deal on a goldenrod jigged bone version, which I graciously accepted. It arrived yesterday, earlier than expected, and is a welcome (re)addition to my rotation. Thank you so much for your generosity,bigfish64 .

It’s been a great knife day as I have one more arrival I’m trying to hold off on opening but don’t think it’s going to happen lol.

Thank you Todd! The fit and finish is the nicest to date of any Boker I own and there all pretty good that I have . The action is snappy and smooth on both blades and centered. I had a issue one time on a Boker Barlow I had to send back because there was a serious problem with lockup. So I asked DLT to inspect this one and oh man did they send me a nice one in every area . Smoooth on every transition from the bolsters to the pins and the shield is nice and centered and level. That IS a really pretty red Ed.
How’s the F&F and action on that one?
