I just scored one on fb for 299$ Guy had two one for 290$ other i got for 299$ It was a dealer on a fan page!!!!

Hello Nick, I'm the guy who got the first one. I was just about to post here about the other 8 but you beat me to the punch this time.

I just logged in to my Knifecenter account and my pre order for the 801CF says "In Stock"?! Could it be? Also says "order approved" 5/1. BTW order date was 6/6/13

Not seeing the option to pm or email you? I tried adding you as a friend/contact. You can email me by using my username.... replace the underscore with a period (.) and the rest is at gmail....

Hope I can score one of these at a reasonable price. Already seen them for sale for $1,000 (that country store) online, and even for $600 on the bay.

There might be more than one batch. Some more may be in the works.I called around to many dealers this AM and most have not received any as of this morning. If it's not meant to be, then that's the way the ball bounces for me.I remember how the 0560CBCF rolled and the 0777 and how the ball bounced differently when those models were released and how there was a rebound for the 0560CBCF.Sometimes you catch it on the rebound and sometimes you don't get another chance.I missed the shot for a must-have and another member on this board passed the ball to me at cost, and I did the same for him down the line.I just bought a ZT-9 from Dave and always wanted that model, but not at the historic regular price. The price is finally right for me now (Kershawguy) that the ZT-9 been discontinued and my patience paid off in the long run.Happy hunting and I hope everyone gets a 0801CF at some point.
best regards,
salmonkiller

PS: actually there was a rebound for the 0777 the DLC model and I had it in my cart, but decided not to pull the trigger.Life goes and I am blessed to own the knifes that I already have....

What a completely fantastic knife, I am thoroughly impressed. Very nicely done satin finish, the lockup is super tight, and the design is full on win.

To anyone who had a pre-order from KC I just received an email that mine has shipped! I think I got the pre-order in on the day they put them up, either that or the day after. I first got an email regarding it on June 12st 2013 so hopefully the rest of you guys waiting get a confirmation email soon too!

Sweeeeeet! My KC preorder has shipped as well! They honored the epic low price too.

BTW, I asked them last week where I place on the list and was told that about thirty were ahead of me so they probably received at least that much on this batch. I preordered the same day they put them up, thought I'd be higher up- had me worried a bit lol.

It hasn't been easy continuously passing on the standard 801... I had a good reason: 801CF baby!

I got my shipping notice from KC today as well. If it makes any difference to anyone, I waited til day 3 of preorders to get in line. They must have gotten a bunch. I didnt think I stood a chace.

Check this thread daily, often and as early as 9am ET. I messed up on the last part for KW!

That's what I am afraid of lol.

Dude, If some can have four I can have two! :D

Slight entertaining digression on some of us in SoCal (we entertain but we also send rockets into space):

"Way out west there was this fella... fella I wanna tell ya about. Fella by the name of Jeff Lebowski. At least that was the handle his loving parents gave him, but he never had much use for it himself. Mr. Lebowski, he called himself "The Dude". Now, "Dude" - that's a name no one would self-apply where I come from. But then there was a lot about the Dude that didn't make a whole lot of sense. And a lot about where he lived, likewise. But then again, maybe that's why I found the place so darned interestin'. They call Los Angeles the "City Of Angels." I didn't find it to be that, exactly. But I'll allow there are some nice folks there. 'Course I can't say I've seen London, and I ain't never been to France. And I ain't never seen no queen in her damned undies, so the feller says. But I'll tell you what - after seeing Los Angeles, and this here story I'm about to unfold, well, I guess I seen somethin' every bit as stupefyin' as you'd see in any of them other places. And in English, too. So I can die with a smile on my face, without feelin' like the good Lord gypped me. Now this here story I'm about to unfold took place back in the early '90s - just about the time of our conflict with Sad'm and the I-raqis. I only mention it because sometimes there's a man... I won't say a hero, 'cause, what's a hero? But sometimes, there's a man. And I'm talkin' about the Dude here. Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's the Dude, in Los Angeles. And even if he's a lazy man - and the Dude was most certainly that. Quite possibly the laziest in Los Angeles County, which would place him high in the runnin' for laziest worldwide. But sometimes there's a man, sometimes, there's a man. Aw. I lost my train of thought here. But... aw, hell. I've done introduced him enough."

I know. I have to figure out how to pay for the second one. I have too many money pits going at once.

My first one arrived this afternoon. Its a very nice knife. Detention is pretty hard and the lock bar is pretty sticky, but those are my only complaints. I've also been carrying a hinderer for a few months so it doesn't take much for me to think the decent is hard...
