M1 Backpacker Pro in Magnacut ?

I try to limit my toy budget because I still have this unfounded hope that maybe I can own the house I'm living in, but given what I've heard of what magnacut does at decent hardnesses, I'm certainly waiting for one of these, since most of the Aussie timber I run into will take the edge off most knives without much trouble, and magnacut seems to be right on line between achievable, and not insanely expensive. I've got one knife in 3v that will take shavings off iron bark, but it's a belt knife, not one for long distance walking if I'm not planning any fire prep. All that said, I think at this point, it's them getting the steel, getting the heat treat dialed in, and delivering a home run hit, because all the other companies who dropped really good products have done so with the advantage of "well, it's new" But that's alright, so long as they know they can move a few, I'm sure they will when the time is right.
