I don't exactly remember, there was a lot of different spices on there, but yes definitely garlic. And the prawns that were with it! A whole lot of garlic on them.

so Hannafords (local grocery) calls this a sicilian roast. it is italian meats, provolone and portabello wrapped in beef.

I'm not sure. It was given to me as a gift and I've been wondering what kind of wood it is myself. Whatever it is, it's a nice large slab and it's very hard.

Used my Pro'Fanger (Thanks, BMurray!) to slice some huge Portobello mushrooms for this delicious (if I do say so myself) stir fry that I made for dinner tonight.
