This is about the only 3 things I have caught so far this year, plus about a dozen smaller bass. Who knew snakes liked wacky worms...lol

He's no monster but the state record is just 1lb 6oz. My biggest so far is 1lb 3oz. Maybe I'll get there one day.

Nice fish fellas!

I got out yesterday afternoon/evening with a friend that I hadn't seen in almost 10 years. We caught countless northern pike and squeaked out a 5 walleye a piece limit of nice eater size fish. We had a blast and it was nice to catch up over 8 hours of fishing.

Got out on the float tube for a bit while camping last weekend. Managed to land a few trout! I forgot how much I love fly fishing. I think my spinning gear will be sitting at home a lot this year.

beautiful pics guys. awesome. ready for the weekend!!

First trip of the year . Bass should be ready to bed but cold temps put a hold on it . Fish pull off the bank and stage in slightly deeper water on heavy cover . Purple Manns Jelly worm fished though the brush piles , stumps and laydowns was the ticket to a great day of bass fishing .

Took my Mom fishing yesterday, couldn't have been better. Were fishing for crappies which got plenty of but caught lots of bass and this 19lb Pike too! My Mom caught that sucker, I was completely blown away when went to scoop in net considering she said it was probably a perch/sunny at first bite. She didnt want to hold it bare handed. :D Half of it was hanging out of net. If wasn't anchored would have been pulling the boat everywhere. So happy for her. Biggest fish she's ever caught. Biggest Pike have seen in lake we were at too. Great day.

We call those bat rays in these parts. Over 100#s you wish you never hooked it.

I have hit the local lakes about then times this year so far...Lots of stocked trout, bluegills, perch, crappie and bass. also a few pickeral...The water is already getting filled with green muck near the shore of the one I hit yesterday! That normally happens in August.....I guess all those darn lawn chemicals get in the water and cause it to happen early....sad

Smallmouth fishing on the Susquehanna River just north of Harrisburg, PA

That does look like a bat Ray, had a 90# one boil the grease in a new reel, I also tail hooked one down in Elkhorn Slough, a little 60# cow nose, pulled up the stern anchor and pulled the 16' boat against the current until I got it tired enough to get to the boat. A .22 finished it quickly and it is delicious smoked!
